BairesDev is seeking a Data Engineer specialized in dbt to design and build scalable transformation pipelines within the modern data stack. You will bridge raw data ingestion with business intelligence, ensuring precise modeling and high performance for downstream analytics.

You will implement dbt workflows, optimize data models, and tune SQL queries while following software engineering best practices. This remote role offers flexible hours and the possibility to work in USD or local currency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in building and optimizing data transformations using dbt (Core or Cloud).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex query development and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
