Perle is seeking a country leader for Colombia to own the end-to-end country operations, recruit contributors and businesses, and drive growth across the local ecosystem. You will manage a field team, set aggressive targets, and ensure active participation from partners and workers on shift.

You will coordinate onboarding, training, and KPI reporting, maintaining strong relationships with HQ and frontline teams. This role offers equity and a direct line to leadership in a global AI data platform.

Formación

• Native Spanish or Portuguese, fluent English.

About Perle

Perle is an AI infrastructure company building expert-driven training data, evaluation systems, and applied AI products for the world's leading labs and enterprises. With experts across more than forty markets, we specialize in the work that requires real human judgment: domain expertise, linguistic nuance, and cultural fidelity that generic data vendors cannot deliver.

We are building the biggest AI and robotics data collection operation in Latin America, and we need one person to own each country. Perle AI pays thousands of people to record first-person video of everyday life and work: at home on their phone, and on shift in restaurants, supermarkets, shops, farms and workshops. The footage trains the next generation of robots. The platform, the pay engine and the customer demand are live. What we do not have yet is you.

The job

You own your country. Not a region of it, not a channel, the whole thing.

• Contributors: recruit people to record at home, get them through signup, ID check and training, and keep them recording month after month. Neighborhoods, universities, WhatsApp groups, referrals, events, whatever works. The media agency sends you leads; you turn them into active people.
• Businesses: walk into restaurants, supermarkets, retail stores, farms, carpentry and landscaping businesses, sign them up, and get their workers recording on shift. You close, you launch, you keep the site producing.
• Your team: hire and run a field team of ambassadors and recruiters paid on results. You set the targets, you own the numbers.
• Quality and reporting: accepted hours are what count. You keep fraud out, keep people active, and send HQ one weekly set of numbers from the dashboard. No decks.

First 90 days

• Active contributors: 500 people recording at home every month in your country, growing every week
• Live business sites: 10 businesses with workers recording on shift, with a pipeline behind them
• Field team: 5 ambassadors hired, trained and producing
• Operating rhythm: Weekly onboarding sessions running without you in the room

Requirements

• Built ground operations from zero: a city launch, a field team, a sales territory. You know what week one with nothing looks like.
• Supply-side experience at a gig or marketplace platform (Uber, DiDi, Rappi, iFood or similar): recruiting and activating drivers, couriers or merchants at scale, and keeping them active. A consulting background (strategy or operations) is a plus if it comes with real field work.
• A real network in the service and manufacturing sectors in your country: restaurants, retail, food production, workshops, factories, farms. Owners who take your call. You walk into a business cold and close, and people trust you and come back.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or a field related to the job.
• Native Spanish or Portuguese, fluent English. You will be on calls with the US team every day.
• At home with dashboards, a CRM and a phone full of WhatsApp groups. Numbers are how you talk.
• Integrity. You will be handling people's identities, pay and trust.
• Willing to run through walls. Targets are aggressive, the plan changes weekly, and "that will take three months" is not an answer.
