Job summary

You will analyze performance, regulatory and macroeconomic factors, assist in financial modeling, and prepare credit research notes and publishable reports.

Responsibilities include evaluating profitability trends, capital structure, liquidity, and governance, while adhering to compliance and security guidelines.

• Assist primary analysts in building in-depth financial models (historical and projections).
• Prepare internal credit research notes and publishable credit reports.
• Ensure adherence to compliance, confidentiality and information security policies.

• The role would involve supporting client primary analysts to arrive at / monitor credit ratings for issuers across various industries. Analysis would cover surveillance of a portfolio of companies as well as responding to market events that could potentially lead to a change in ratings.

Analyze business performance, including:

• Industry dynamics and regulatory trends
• Evaluating country and macroeconomic risk
• Competitive and market position
• Strategy / execution / management of the companies
• Trends in profitability and peer comparisons
• Financial governance and policies
• Analysis of financial ratios and trends
• Liquidity / short-term factors
• Understanding the capital structure of companies
• Assist the primary analyst(s) in the preparation of in-depth financial models – historical and projections.
• Prepare comprehensive internal credit research reports and notes covering the aforementioned operational and financial factors.
• Assist primary analyst(s) in preparing publishable credit reports.
• Strictly practice and follow all compliance, confidentiality and information security policies and procedures and related guidelines of the organization.
