Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Computer Scientist for a 100% remote position to tackle advanced algorithmic problems and design scalable solutions for datasets containing hundreds of millions of entities and billions of relationships.

You will work on inference, ranking, matching, classification, and optimization problems, translating ambiguous requirements into robust computational solutions in production environments. Strong English and a CS degree (or near completion) are required.

In this role, you'll tackle some of the hardest algorithmic problems in computer science, working on inference, ranking, matching, classification, and optimization over datasets containing hundreds of millions of entities and billions of relationships. This is not a backend, infrastructure, or data engineering role — the primary responsibility is formulating complex computational problems and designing scalable algorithmic solutions that can be validated and deployed in production. • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain production-quality software.
• Ability to reason about scalability, computational complexity, and performance tradeoffs.
• Comfort working on ambiguous, open-ended problems and progressively transforming them into well-defined computational solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
