UNICEF is seeking a Supply and Logistics Assistant to support uninterrupted supply of quality goods and services for programs in Colombia. The role focuses on procurement, contracting, in-country logistics, warehousing, and inventory management to ensure timely delivery.

The candidate will forecast needs, track shipments, and analyze data to drive decisions. Strong experience in development or humanitarian contexts is preferred, with fluency in Spanish and working knowledge of English.

Formación

• Minimum five years of relevant administrative experience in supply chain management or a commercial environment.
• Secondary education is required; a Bachelor’s degree can substitute for three years of experience; a Master’s degree can substitute for two additional years.
• Experience in development, fragile, and humanitarian contexts is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Manage procurement and contracting processes.
• Oversee in-country logistics and warehousing activities.
• Ensure efficient inventory management and forecasting of supply needs.
• Coordinate with vendors, track shipments, and manage deliveries.
• Analyze data to inform decision-making and optimize the supply chain for UNICEF programs in Colombia.
