Job summary

MILL5 is seeking a QA/Test Engineer to ensure quality, security, reliability, and production readiness of a cloud-based application and its integrations. You will work closely with developers, DevOps, BAs, data professionals, and business stakeholders throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities include test planning, automated testing, API and end-to-end testing, SQL validation, and supporting UAT and release readiness. Strong English and Agile experience are required.

Qualifications

• Professional software QA experience for web apps and APIs.
• Experience designing, planning, executing and documenting tests.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, API and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with API-testing tools such as Postman or equivalent.
• Experience with test-automation frameworks and scripting.
• SQL and data validation knowledge.
• Defect documentation and prioritization.
• Agile software development experience.
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into test plans and traceable verification activities.
• Review requirements to identify ambiguities and risks.
• Develop and maintain automated, integration, regression, API, system and end-to-end tests.
• Validate workflows across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Perform positive-path and negative-path testing, including edge cases.
• Test authentication, authorization, validations and error handling.
• Use SQL and validation methods to verify data accuracy.
• Support performance and security testing and remediation.
• Investigate defects and document reproducible steps.
• Maintain test data and test environments.
• Produce clear test evidence and release verification docs.
• Support UAT and release readiness activities.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Communicate quality status and coverage gaps clearly.
