AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a QA Engineer to build regression automation and drive quality practices across a growing platform. The role blends manual testing with automated scripts, executing smoke, integration, and performance tests while documenting behavior and defects. Strong JS/TS skills and BDD with Gherkin are central to the work.

You will build automation, test across SDLC, and collaborate with product and customer teams to improve testing strategy and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software QA with emphasis on automation.
• Experience building regression automation and executing diverse tests.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and Gherkin for BDD.
• Strong communication and quality mindset.
• Experience with QA tooling and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts to support app functionality.
• Manually test software based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other tests.
• Document feature behavior with detail.
• Record pass/fail criteria and link failures to defects.
• Identify risks to product quality and process.
• Collaborate with product team across SDLC and releases.
• Engage with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback.
• Participate in refinement and estimations for planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
