Abbott Laboratories is seeking an Application Architect based in Colombia to lead architecture development for robust data platforms, analytics solutions, and cloud-based applications. You will evaluate the Information Management portfolio, design secure, scalable solutions, and drive cloud adoption across AWS and Azure environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of IT platform implementation in technical/analytical environments.
• Experience architecting large-scale analytics and data platforms (on-prem and cloud).
• Strong data warehousing knowledge and best practices.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Lakehouse, and cloud analytics on AWS/Azure.
• Proficient in Python, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture design and implementation of data platforms and analytics across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Develop architectures using AWS and/or Azure services for compute, pipelines, storage and databases.
• Own project architecture and data modeling standards for analytical apps.
• Create roadmaps to modernize legacy platforms and enable advanced analytics and data science.
• Provide technical leadership throughout project delivery and ensure enterprise alignment.
• Establish scalable data integration patterns and governance for enterprise data products.
• Collaborate with SMEs to build data pipelines from structured/unstructured sources.
• Drive security, compliance, and cost optimization in architecture patterns.
