Avenue Code is seeking a Solution Architect to join a development squad, working directly within the client environment. You will define and govern solution architectures, lead technical decisions, and ensure scalability, security, and compliance of enterprise-grade applications.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and client leadership to design robust solutions, establish technical standards, and support delivery of digital transformation initiatives.

Formación

• Proven experience designing and governing enterprise-level web architectures.
• Strong REST API knowledge and API-driven architectures.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication.
• Experience designing cloud-native applications.
• Strong DevSecOps knowledge and secure software delivery.
• Experience in PCI-DSS compliant environments.
• Experience with IaC, preferably Terraform.
• Understanding software architecture patterns and governance.
• Experience leading technical discussions.

Avenue Code is seeking a Solution Architect to join a development squad working directly within the client environment. This professional will be responsible for defining and governing solution architecture, leading technical decisions, and ensuring the scalability, security, and compliance of enterprise-grade applications.

The role will work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and client leadership to design robust solutions, establish technical standards, and support the delivery of high-quality digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and govern solution architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Lead technical decisions and provide architectural guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design scalable APIs, integrations, and enterprise application solutions.
• Establish and enforce security, compliance, and architectural standards, including PCI-DSS requirements.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and governance activities.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Support the implementation of cloud-native solutions and DevSecOps practices.
• Ensure solutions follow best practices around performance, scalability, observability, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and governing enterprise-level web architectures.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and API-driven architectures.
• Experience with authentication and authorization standards, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-native applications.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure software delivery.
• Experience working in PCI-DSS compliant environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform.
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, integration strategies, and technical governance.
• Experience leading technical discussions and guiding engineering teams.

Nice To Have Skills

• Knowledge of tokenization and secure card-data handling practices.
• Experience implementing MFA and RBAC solutions.
• Experience with transaction processing platforms.
• Experience designing and supporting SFTP integrations.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
• Knowledge of OWASP security controls and secure coding practices.
• Experience with load testing strategies and performance optimization.
• Experience coordinating penetration testing activities.
• Experience implementing infrastructure automation and cloud governance.
• Knowledge of audit logging, monitoring, and observability solutions.
