Novamentusa in Bogotá is seeking a seasoned Cisco ACI specialist to design and operate data center networks. You will manage APIC-based fabric setup, multi-site configurations, contracts, and policies, with hands-on work on Nexus 2k/5k/7k/9k and VXLAN/EVPN.

The role demands strong routing/switching skills (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), VLANs, VPCs, and experience with automation using Python, NSO, Postman, and Insomnia to support migrations and daily operations.

Formación

• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco ACI including APIC, fabrics, contracts, and policies.
• Strong knowledge of Nexus switches and STP/LACP across data center fabrics.
• Experience with VLANs, VPCs, and L3Out configurations.
• Familiarity with XML/JSON data formats and network automation tools.
• Python scripting for migrations and automation tasks.

Core Technical Skills

Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure)

Extensive hands‑on experience with Cisco ACI, including APIC, fabric setup, multi‑site architectures, contracts, and policies.

Proficient in troubleshooting fabric discovery, endpoint learning, static bindings, Bridge Domains, and L3Out configurations.

Strong knowledge of ACI device provisioning, upgrades, and APIC GUI navigation.

Deep expertise with Nexus 2k/5k/7k/9k series: configuration, troubleshooting, and operational support.

Advanced skills with NX-OS, vPC, FabricPath, VXLAN, and EVPN technologies.

Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting VLANs, VPCs, port channels, STP, LACP, and multicast routing.

Routing & Switching (Advanced)

Strong practical experience with OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, route maps, redistribution, and peering.

Demonstrated ability to design and implement high‑availability networks and failover scenarios.

Skilled in both Layer 2 and Layer 3 switch configuration and verification.

Automation & Data Formats

Experience working with data formats such as XML and JSON.

Hands‑on familiarity with network automation tools including Cisco NSO, Postman, and Insomnia.

Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python, used for ACI migrations and automation tasks
