Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line in Colombia is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze processes, translate requirements into designs, and support project delivery across multiple domains. You'll partner with stakeholders, write functional specs, collaborate with Scrum teams, and ensure SDLC compliance while mentoring junior analysts and contributing to testing and documentation.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in CS or related field and 4 years IT BA experience; experience with Workday or SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience.
• 4 years of working experience in an Information Technology environment as a Business Analyst.
• Proficient with system/application design and end user support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to develop and document requirements and specifications.
• Ability to communicate in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work as a team player.
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivated.
• Ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business problems and recommend improvements and/or solutions.
• Develop requirements for process or system solutions and document details for the development team.
• Break down requirements into backlog items for product developers and ensure understanding.
• Maintain business process documentation and traceability.
• Provide functional design specifications for new development and major enhancements.
• Collaborate with designers to create interfaces that meet requirements and design standards.
• Develop and maintain functional test cases and automated scripts for testing.
• Provide acceptance criteria and facilitate user acceptance testing.
• Review and remediate defects from testing and production changes.
• Participate in customer demos and coordinate production changes.
• Gain a thorough understanding of supported business areas and maintain IT relationships.
