Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Bogota, Colombia. The ideal candidate will have experience in JIRA, Azure DevOps dashboards, Agile methodology, writing user stories, and acting as a liaison between product and engineering teams. The Business Analyst will support high-quality software delivery by outlining requirements, collaborating on development strategies, and facilitating communication between teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in meeting release goals and objectives by actively participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Outline requirements for a business capability by gathering and analyzing user needs, translating them into actionable user stories, and prioritizing them in the product backlog.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to determine strategies for building and supporting requested features and functionalities.
- Work closely with the Product Owner and product development team to ensure alignment with the team\'s goals and objectives, providing insights and recommendations as needed.
- Generate documentation such as user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and system diagrams to enable the team and customers.
- Continuously improve processes and methodologies to enhance software delivery.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably in a software development environment.
- Proficiency in JIRA and Azure DevOps dashboards for managing Agile projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience in writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and participating in Agile ceremonies.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements.
- Experience in SDLC processes is a plus.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

- Background Check: Criminal History, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver\'s License Verification, and Passport/ID validation may be required.
- Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
- Current professional card or registration in Colombia (if applicable): present if the role is regulated.
- Onboarding Medical: onboarding medical examination may be required prior to commencement of employment, in accordance with Colombian legislation.
