Lexington County Public Library seeks a senior Librarian to assist in managing a large branch library and oversee daily operations. You will supervise circulation staff, lead program planning, and participate in collection development and policy implementation with the Senior Branch Librarian.

Responsibilities include budget oversight, staff development, committee collaboration, and community outreach to promote library services and reading programs.

Formación

• Preferred 5-10 years of experience in public library management.
• Minimum Education - MLIS degree from an ALA accredited college or university.
• Minimum Qualification - 3-5 years of professional library experience in public libraries including supervisory and management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assists Senior Branch Librarian in management of daily operations of a large branch library.
• Manages the Circulation Department and supervises staff within the work area.
• Performs Collection Development duties for the branch and plans programs.
