ScotiaTech, Scotiabank's technology hub in Bogota, seeks a Data Engineer/ETL Developer to support ETL processes feeding the Enterprise Data Lake and regulatory reporting. You will contribute to designing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality and scalable performance.

The role requires 3–5 years of data engineering experience, strong IBM DataStage skills, SQL proficiency, and English at least B2+. It offers a dynamic, inclusive environment with competitive benefits at ScotiaTech.

Formación

• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or ETL developer is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with IBM DataStage ETL is a must.
• Experience with Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop) and relational databases (Oracle).
• Solid SQL and Data Quality skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Support ETL development and maintenance for ingestion into EDL from various sources.
• Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Troubleshoot complex ETL and data issues across dev/test/prod environments.
• Collaborate in an Agile team and promote best development practices.
