A leading medical device company is seeking a BDM/ASM for its Ortho Business in Colombia. The role involves achieving sales targets, developing commercial proposals, and managing key accounts in the orthopedic sector. Candidates should possess experience in hospital environments and commercialization of orthopedic products, along with strong relationship-building skills. Good English proficiency is required.

Formación

BDM /ASM – Ortho Business Spain

We have an exciting role which allow you to lead and grow Meril’s Arthroplasty (TKR & THR) division.

The role brings a chance to demonstrate your leadership and contribute to the growth of the business.

Main Responsibilities
  • To achieve required sales targets and objectives as agreed with sales leader
  • Reponsible for the development of commercial proposals incorporating clinical data for Clinical, Procurement and Finance stakeholders
  • Provide clear forecast and market intelligence data for the defined Area of work to include competitor usage and share
  • Liaise closely with the supply team to manage customer expectation and ensure accurate revenue generation
  • Agree and implement a Business Development Plan across the Region with the sales leader
  • Continually develop new business opportunities through prospecting new accounts and providing business proposals and implementation plans for the conversion of key accounts
  • Liaise with key opinion leaders and all key stakeholders within each target account
  • Provide training and education on products and therapy areas within target accounts and product demonstrations to ensure the safe and effective use of Meril products
Requirements
  • Experience in hospitals and knowledge of the purchasing environment and clinical decision-making
  • Experience in modern commercialization processes of orthopaedic products (knee, hip, Robotic S. and associated surgery).
  • Deep knowledge of the territory and local KOLs will be highly valued, as well as the ability to build strategic relationships.
  • Ability to manage key accounts, develop relationships with clinical teams, and generate a sales pipeline of opportunities.
  • Skills in territory planning and reporting, as well as autonomous work and team collaboration
  • Good English
