Frontera Health, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to build and scale our Integrations Platform. This backend-focused role centers on APIs, data pipelines, and services enabling seamless connections with external partners and healthcare systems.

You will work with the Engineering Lead and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure integrations and contribute to foundational systems in a fast-moving environment.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong skills in Python, Node.js, or similar backend technologies.
• Experience building APIs, working with external integrations, or developing data pipelines.
• Solid understanding of databases (relational and/or NoSQL), data modeling, and service architecture.
• Proven ability to own features end-to-end, from backend logic to API integrations and data flow.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal, Airflow, etc.
• Experience building and operating production-grade systems, with a focus on reliability and scalability.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, particularly in distributed or integration-heavy environments.
• High standards for code quality, maintainability, and documentation.
• Thrives in fast-moving, early-stage environments with greenfield projects.
• Experience with B2B SaaS or internal tools is a plus.
• Healthcare or regulated environment experience is a bonus, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain, and improve backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that power integrations with external partners and internal systems.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable integration patterns for third-party APIs and data exchange.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and accuracy of data flowing across systems.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems, integrations, and data pipelines.
• Partner with product, operations, and engineering to translate integration requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and team knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to improving developer experience through better tooling, documentation, and integration workflows.
• Support monitoring, logging, and alerting to proactively identify and resolve issues.
