BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) is seeking an experienced Azure Data Platform Engineer in Bogota, Colombia to design and implement a scalable data platform. The role focuses on integrating data from SAP and other systems into a unified data lake and reporting layer, enabling standardized financial reporting and analytics across the business.

You will design ETL pipelines, implement ADLS Gen2-based architecture, and collaborate with finance teams on data modelling, governance and security.

Formación

• Proven experience designing and implementing Azure data platforms.
• Strong SQL and Power Query skills with large datasets.
• Experience integrating ERP/finance systems (SAP desirable).
• Experience building end-to-end data pipelines and data modelling.
• Knowledge of data lake vs warehouse vs Lakehouse patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines across source systems.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Design data lake architecture in ADLS Gen2 and manage bronze/silver/gold layers.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security and metadata management.
