Mroads is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer for our client in Bogota, Colombia. The role requires strong expertise in AWS, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on scalable cloud-native deployments and automation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in DevOps, solid leadership, and experience in Agile/Scrum teams. Collaboration with stakeholders and mentoring of teammates will be valued in this on-site position in Bogota.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD using Harness or similar.
• Hands-on AWS, Amazon EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud-native deployment and infrastructure automation.
• Strong containerization, orchestration, and microservices knowledge.
• Experience with event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with MongoDB and NoSQL; WebSockets and GraphQL integrations.
• Strong Git knowledge and modern software workflows.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Mroads is looking for an "AWS DevOps Engineer" for one of our direct clients in Bogota, Colombia.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer and enterprise DevOps initiatives.
• Strong experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Harness or similar DevOps platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Amazon EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing cloud-native deployment strategies and infrastructure automation.
• Strong understanding of containerization, orchestration, and microservices architecture.
• Experience supporting event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, NoSQL databases, WebSockets, and GraphQL integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Git and modern software development workflows.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
