BairesDev in Colombia is seeking a Senior Data Platform Architect (AWS) to lead the assessment of a complex data marketplace and shape the target data architecture end-to-end.

You will design a resiliency blueprint, map a concrete roadmap with quick-action items, and work closely with incumbent architects and consultants, including AI-assisted SDLC practices. This is a fully remote role with global impact.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture with AWS.
• Strong expertise in AWS lakehouse architecture (S3, Iceberg).
• Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg, Starburst or Trino.
• Experience in current-state assessment and roadmap development.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess the present data platform across pipelines and lakehouse, including federated access.
• Design the target-state resiliency architecture for the data platform.
• Build a roadmap with concrete quick-action items for ramp-up and delivery.
• Collaborate closely with incumbent architects and consultants on the engagement.
• Review AI-generated code as part of an AI-assisted SDLC.
