Otter in Bogotá is seeking an Automation Specialist to drive the technical strategy, design scalable automation solutions, and deploy them with minimal supervision. You will work closely with Operations, Product Management, and SDEs to align on goals and deliver measurable impact.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, clear communication of insights, and a proactive, data-driven approach to continuous improvement in a fast-growing online delivery ecosystem.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional experience in Automation, Analytics, Solutions Engineering, Data Analytics, or similar technical role.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in a STEM discipline (Statistics, Computer Science, Analytics, or Engineering).
• Strong capability to analyze large datasets, detect patterns, deliver actionable insights, and establish KPIs/metrics.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex data insights to 다양한 audiences.
• Proactive, first-principles thinker with continuous improvement mindset and strong collaboration across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Shape the overarching automation strategy and solution design.
• Utilize cloud tools, frameworks, and languages including GCP, Azure, Airflow, GitHub, Argo, Python, AppsScript.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable automation solutions with minimal supervision.
• Partner with Operations, Product Management, and SDEs to drive alignment.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
