Job summary

International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Colombia seeks an Assistant Operations to manage procurement and supply chain activities for program operations in Cauca and surrounding regions. You will handle vendor evaluations, requisitions in the INTEGRA system, and ensure accurate documentation and timely deliveries while coordinating with Finance and program teams.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in purchasing, logistics or supply chain tasks.
• Basic English knowledge (written and spoken).
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to travel nationally when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement processes from requisition to delivery following organizational thresholds.
• Develop market assessments of suppliers by category and coordinate with program/ops teams.
• Maintain and archive all supply chain documents (digital and physical).
• Track deliveries and provide timely updates to requestors and CIR/VE staff.
• Coordinate with Finance to process payments and ensure supplier Compliance.
