Join Inchcape Digital, part of Inchcape’s global network, located in Colombia.

We are seeking a Solution Architect specializing in web and eCommerce applications to design and oversee the development of scalable, high‑performance digital commerce platforms, with expertise in React.js, PHP, databases and cloud platforms.

What you’ll do

• Architect and design scalable web and eCommerce solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
• Lead the development of React.js front‑end applications and PHP or .Net based eCommerce back‑end services.
• Define and oversee database architecture (SQL & NoSQL) for product catalogs, user data, and transactions.
• Design API‑driven and microservices‑based architectures for modular, extensible eCommerce platforms.
• Present architectural designs to the architecture board for review and approval.
• Ensure cloud‑based deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for high availability and resilience.
• Work closely with UI/UX and product manager teams to enhance customer experience and optimize website performance.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud automation to support agile development.
• Ensure security best practices, including PCI compliance, data encryption, and fraud prevention.

About you

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect for web and eCommerce applications.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and/or .Net with a deep understanding of database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure DB).
• Experience integrating PIM (Product Information Management) and CRM systems.
• Cloud expertise with Azure, including serverless architectures.
• Experience with GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and headless commerce architectures.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud‑based deployment strategies.
