ATP Development & Construction is a real estate development and investment company delivering ground‑up projects. The Architect, Engineer, Take Off role is a full‑time remote position supporting planning and execution of development and construction projects.

You will review drawings, prepare quantity take offs, and coordinate with project managers to ensure estimates align with budgets and schedules. Role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, strong communication, and experience

Formación

• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and design documents.
• Experience in Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
• Background in Construction, including quantity take offs and estimating.
• Project management to coordinate tasks, timelines, and budgets.
• Teamwork with designers, engineers, PMs, and field personnel.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of building codes/regulations is beneficial.
• Experience with wood framing and USA codes, inspections, and permits.

Role Description

The Architect, Engineer, Take Off role is a full-time remote position responsible for supporting the planning and execution of development and construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing architectural and engineering drawings, preparing detailed quantity take offs, and coordinating with project managers to ensure accurate estimates and scope definitions. The role involves collaborating with internal teams across acquisition, planning, and construction to align designs with project budgets, schedules, and quality standards. Responsibilities also include identifying constructability issues, assisting with value engineering, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. The position requires effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders and consistent documentation of project changes and technical information.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture, with the ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and design documents.
• Experience in Civil Engineering or related engineering disciplines, including understanding of structural, site, and infrastructure considerations.
• Background in Construction, including quantity take offs, estimating, and familiarity with construction methods and materials.
• Project Management skills to coordinate tasks, manage timelines, and support delivery of projects on budget and schedule.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with designers, engineers, project managers, and field personnel.
• Proficiency in design and estimating software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or similar tools) and standard office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in take offs and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to real estate development and construction is beneficial.
• IT IS REALLY IMPORTANT YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH WOOD FRAMING AND USA CODES, INSPECTIONS AND PERMITS.
