AECOM Enterprise Capabilities is seeking experienced Architects to join our Bogotá, Colombia office, focusing on data centers. The ideal candidate holds a professional degree in Architecture and has over 2 years of experience in design and documentation.

Responsibilities include performing architectural calculations, preparing specifications, coordinating technical activities, and ensuring quality standards are met. Proficiency in English and design software such as Revit and AutoCAD is essential.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in architectural design, drafting, and construction documentation.

AECOM Enterprise Capabilities is seeking Architects with experience and/or interest in data centers to work in our Bogotá, Colombia office.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic architectural/engineering calculations.
• Prepare specifications, reports, and related data tables.
• Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups.
• Prepare, review, and approve drawings as required.
• Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate technical and administrative activities with other disciplines and departments, in collaboration with the project lead.
• Assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Professional degree in Architecture (required) with 2+ years of experience in architectural design, drafting, and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in English (B2-C1 level required).
• Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and BIM tools.
• Ability to perform technical quality reviews and ensure deliverables meet established standards.

Preferred Requirements

• Proven involvement in building projects within infrastructure environments is preferred.
• Experience in Data Centers or industrial facilities is considered a plus.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary coordination and collaboration with other departments.
• Basic understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and industry standards. Knowledge of American standards is considered a plus.
