Lifted, an Upwork Company™, is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to apply AI coding assistants and large language models to everyday software development. You will build capabilities that automate workflows and improve developer productivity while diagnosing and resolving coding and AI-related issues.

You will take ownership of implementing features, refining prompts, and ensuring robust tooling and infrastructure across the development lifecycle.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years in software development.
• Hands-on AI and agentic development experience.
• Proficient with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar).
• Strong AI principles and related technologies understanding.
• Experience with large language models, not base models.
• Prompt-engineering to optimize AI output.
• Proficient with Git and modern development tools.
• Experience in Java or Go development.

Responsabilidades

• Apply AI coding assistants to improve productivity across everyday software-development work.
• Use large language models effectively for coding, debugging, and automation.
• Design and refine prompts to improve AI performance and output quality.
• Develop product features involving Model Context Protocol capabilities, related frameworks and harnesses, agentic developer environments, and supporting tooling and infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve coding and AI-related issues.
• Take technical ownership of implementation challenges and communicate solutions clearly.
