The Nuclear Company in Colombia is seeking a Cost Control Specialist to support the project management team by monitoring and reporting costs, establishing baselines, and applying Earned Value Management principles to projects.

You will build cost dashboards with Power BI and Tableau, perform AI‑driven forecasting, analyze trends, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and regulatory teams to keep programs on budget and on schedule.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in project controls with focus on cost management.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle and WBS.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel).
• Familiarity with AI/machine learning applications for predictive analytics and cost forecasting.

Responsabilidades

• Develop periodic cost reports and provide analysis to control accounts and leadership.
• Establish and maintain a cost baseline to measure project performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, testing, regulatory, and project controls.
• Monitor cost performance of contractors and inform leadership of deviations.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve budget performance.
• Monitor estimates at completion and provide early warning on cash flow impacts.
• Create cost dashboards and automate trend analysis using BI tools.
• Leverage AI to improve predictive cost analysis and EAC projections.
