The role emphasizes a product mindset over traditional SRE, with a self-service platform and tools to standardize LLM access, monitoring, and governance. English proficiency required. 100% remote.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software or platform engineering.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of platform engineering principles.
• Ability to enable developers and standardize AI/infra workflows.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with Infra as Code tooling and practices.
• Product-minded approach to building self-service platforms.

AI Platform Engineer at BairesDev

In this role, you'll design, build, and operate an Internal Developer Platform focused on generative AI, creating golden paths and reusable blueprints that allow teams to build, deploy, and manage AI-powered services securely and efficiently. With a strong product mindset over a traditional SRE approach, you'll develop a self-service platform that abstracts away the complexity of AI infrastructure, standardizes access to LLMs, and accelerates the delivery of AI features into production. What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering or platform engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deep knowledge of platform engineering principles including golden paths and blueprints.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong product mindset with a focus on developer enablement over traditional SRE approaches.
