Job summary

IgniteTech in Colombia is seeking an entry-level AI Operations Moderator to combine AI tooling with human judgment for reviewing and classifying content across platforms.

You will use GenAI tools to accelerate decisions, maintain thorough logs, and contribute to improving auto-moderation accuracy while demonstrating strong attention to detail and English communication. This is a hands-on, growth-focused role with real impact.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional experience in a tech-enabled role (e.g., content moderation, customer support, QA, BPO, community operations, or admin).
• Hands-on experience using multiple GenAI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for tasks like classification, tagging, documentation, or automation — in professional, academic, or personal productivity contexts.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to make accurate, consistent decisions within defined guidelines over sustained periods.
• Excellent English reading comprehension and written communication skills for reviewing diverse content and documenting actions clearly.
• Comfort and emotional resilience when reviewing sensitive, disturbing, or challenging content in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Moderate content at scale using AI-assisted tools and human review to ensure policy compliance.
• Apply moderation actions — approve, remove, tag, reclassify, or el— consistently across content types.
• Organize and prioritize content queues; monitor content flow across review stages; resolve workflow delays proactively.
• Communicate task status, blockers, and progress updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Annotate and tag content according to defined schemas to generate clean training data for AI systems.
• Identify and document edge cases, false positives/negatives, and anomalies; submit actionable feedback to improve AI model performance.
• Track recurring issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of moderation guidelines, tools, and automation systems.
• Maintain detailed logs of all moderation actions, decisions, and escalations for audit and operational reporting.
