Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Quality Inspector (QLS) to perform line-side inspections on aerospace structures and assemblies at the Kinston, NC site. You will verify conformance to engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, and customer requirements, and manage non-conformances within the Quality Operations framework.

You will inspect aircraft structures, paint, and fastener installations, document results, and support corrective actions.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace manufacturing or aerostructures.
• Experience with line-side inspections and non-conformance management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Perform QLS inspections of aircraft structures and assemblies to verify conformity with requirements.
• Inspect OML/paint per client specs, including thickness, gloss, and surface conditions.
• Inspect fasteners for dishing, flushness, collar length, and angularity using calibrated gauges.
• Document inspection results and manage NCRs; support CAPAs and root cause investigations.
• Ensure FOD prevention and traceability; support audits and customer inspections.
