AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) Software Engineer

We are building the next generation of spatial, architectural, and digital twin experiences. We do not just build websites or standard 3D viewers; we create platforms that connect architecture, real-world spaces, geospatial data, interactive visualization, and digital assets into products that help people understand, explore, and interact with the built environment.

To help us achieve this, we are looking for an AEC Software Engineer based in Medellín, Colombia. This is a highly specialized role at the intersection of Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC), BIM, Geospatial Systems, Interactive 3D Applications, Digital Twins, and Modern Web Technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Build software that connects architectural and construction data with interactive digital experiences.
• Develop tools and workflows around BIM, IFC, and spatial data.
• Contribute to the development of next-generation digital twin platforms.
• Work with 3D visualization systems and real-time web applications.
• Integrate architectural models into scalable web platforms.
• Design and implement geometry-processing and spatial analysis workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, architects, and product teams to bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Professional experience working within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) industry.
• Strong understanding of BIM ecosystems, building data, and IFC standards.
• Experience with Three.js or other modern 3D web technologies.
• Understanding of computational geometry and spatial systems.
• Experience working with geospatial databases, specifically PostGIS.
• Familiarity with Python for data processing and automation.
• Strong systems‑thinking and analytical problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Strong Plus)

• Experience with Revit API or developing BIM integrations.
• Experience working with digital twin platforms or GIS technologies.
• Familiarity with Autodesk ecosystems, Bentley Systems products, or Esri technologies.
• Experience building visualization platforms for architecture, construction, infrastructure, or real estate.

Ideal Background

Candidates may have previously worked at organizations such as Autodesk, Bentley Systems, Esri, BIM-focused software companies, Digital Twin startups, or geospatial technology companies.
