WPP Media in Bogotá, Colombia is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable/Receivable Associate to ensure efficient and timely AR operations. You will focus on maximizing cash collection, reducing overdue balances, and supporting accurate financial records while identifying opportunities to automate processes using AI.

The role requires 2–4 years in AR/credit/collections and strong Excel and ERP experience. A hybrid work setup and competitive benefits are offered.

Formación

• 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or related finance functions.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP.
• Experience with ERP systems, electronic invoicing, credit/debit notes, and applicable tax regulations.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills, detail-oriented, able to support audits and KPIs.

Role Summary and Impact

The Accounts Receivable Senior Associate is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely management of Accounts Receivable through active collections and cash application. This role focuses on maximizing cash collection, reducing overdue balances, mitigating credit risk, and supporting healthy cash flow. The position also contributes to resolving billing disputes, maintaining accurate financial records, and improving AR processes through automation and AI.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience & Foundation: 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or related finance functions, preferably within multinational companies. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, account reconciliation, payment application, and AR management.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, aging analysis, and large-scale reconciliations. Knowledge of ERP systems, electronic invoicing, credit/debit notes, and applicable tax regulations.
• Analytical & Collections Acumen: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify root causes of overdue balances, manage complex billing disputes, assess credit risk, monitor credit limits, and develop effective collection strategies.
• Communication & Process Excellence: Strong negotiation and assertive communication skills to manage challenging clients while maintaining business relationships. Highly detail-oriented, results-driven, and capable of supporting audits, reporting KPIs, and identifying opportunities for process automation and AI implementation.
