About the Role

TaxSlayer is seeking a driven and dynamic professional to become part of our TaxSlayer Pro New Sales team. In this role, you’ll connect directly with small business owners across the country, showcasing how TaxSlayer Pro can simplify and elevate their tax preparation experience.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Engage with prospective customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings to understand their needs and recommend appropriate TaxSlayer software solutions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of TaxSlayer’s product offerings, features, and benefits to effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities using CRM tools, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide feedback to product and development teams based on customer insights.
Required Qualifications
  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in software sales, SaaS, or consultative selling roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and close deals.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to understand and explain technical software features in simple terms.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • This is a fully remote role with no in-office presence required.
  • Occasional virtual meetings or travel may be requested for team collaboration, training, or participation in IRS shows
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, digital environment and manage multiple priorities independently.
