Inchcape is seeking an ABAP Developer to join its global SAP landscape within the Digital Delivery Centre. You will lead SAP ABAP development using BTP, UI5, and Fiori, translating requirements into robust designs and supporting data migration and testing.

The role emphasizes collaboration with international teams, code quality, and mentoring junior developers. Hybrid or remote work options are available, with a focus on modern SAP practices and security standards.

Formación

• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP Development, including ABAP OO, ABAP on HANA, and ABAP with S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP implementation lifecycle, integration technologies such as IDOCs and RFCs, and exposure to CPI/PI-PO.
• Knowledge of modern SAP technologies including SAP BTP, Fiori, Workflow, and HANA Platform (preferred).
• Degree in Systems Engineering or a related field; SAP certifications or specialized training in ABAP, BTP/Fiori, or Workflow are desirable.
• Fluent Spanish and confident English communication skills to collaborate effectively with English-speaking teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and deliver SAP solutions using ABAP, BTP, UI5, and Fiori, ensuring technical quality and alignment with business needs.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs, specifications, and development programs.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, performance optimization, and resolve incidents related to SAP ABAP, Fiori, and BTP.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and development standards.
• Support data migration, conversion, integration, and testing activities across SAP environments.
• Drive adoption of modern SAP technologies and best practices, including BTP, RAP, CPI, Workflow, and PI/PO, while ensuring compliance with architecture and security standards.
• Mentor and coach junior developers, providing technical guidance, code quality oversight, and supporting team capability development.

Part of the functions are requirements analysis, effort estimation, development in ABAP, Fiori, BTP and Analytics, test management and support of the implemented solutions. What you’ll do
