Position Summary

The Trade Marketing Analyst is responsible for accelerating sales in the market through the development and execution of in-store plans and promotions, as well as through the understanding of shopper and customer trends and behaviors within the assigned channel.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute channel-specific business strategies in alignment with Sales and Marketing
  • Analyze shopper patterns and insights to identify growth opportunities at the point of sale
  • Propose and manage in-store actions aligned with customer needs and available resources
  • Design, implement, and control the annual promotional grid by category/channel/customer
  • Maximize in-store marketing campaigns to ensure brand visibility and impact
  • Coordinate with vendors for POP materials and ensure quality execution in stores
  • Track report promotional pricing performance and in-store execution results
  • Design and monitor Brand Ambassadors programs, including tools, training, and incentives
  • Control and report Customer Marketing budget execution (A&P, Deflator) by channel
  • Contribute to S&OP process through visibility of promotional grid and sell-out trends
  • Support the creation of Selling Stories by providing a shopper-centric perspective
  • Ensure compliance with Gross Margin and Net Sales targets for assigned channels
  • Develop and implement e-commerce plans and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall channel strategy, shopper behavior, and digital growth objectives.
  • Required Experience & Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Communications, or related field
    • 2–3 years of experience in Trade Marketing or Customer Marketing roles within the FMCG industry
    • Proven ability to manage in-store execution and investment control (Deflator, A&P)
    • Experience working with promotional planning and execution tools
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint; Excel deseable)
    • Familiarity with NIELSEN data and its application for visibility and distribution monitoring

    • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (90%)
