Evalueserve is seeking a seasoned SQL Developer to join our Risk & Quant Solutions team in Chile. The role focuses on supporting and developing market risk applications for a major US-based institution, collaborating with a global team on data integration, reporting, and analytics.

The candidate will work a late shift, with hours typically 2:00 PM–11:00 PM or 3:00 PM–12:00 AM, depending on business needs, and report to the Manager in the Risk & Quant Solutions department.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 2 years on financial services projects, preferably Market Risk.
• Strong experience in SQL and database development, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational and dimensional databases and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience developing stored procedures, queries, and database objects in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT and data warehousing concepts, with hands-on ETL/ELT tools; SSIS is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft SSIS packages.
• Working experience with Python, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Experience with job scheduling and automation tools.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Git for project collaboration and change management.
• Strong testing and troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support for market risk applications, including monitoring, incident resolution, and problem management.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL-based solutions to support business and market risk functions.
• Handle business-critical incidents, including stakeholder communication and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integration, reporting, and analytics requirements.
• Document operational procedures, workflows, and technical solutions.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the reliability and performance.
