Evalueserve seeks a skilled SQL Developer to join our dynamic team to support and develop market risk applications for a leading US financial institution. You will join a global team delivering services to major clients in the financial industry, focusing on SQL-based solutions and data workflows.

The role requires 5+ years IT experience, strong SQL, SQL Server, ETL/ELT, Python, data warehousing, and experience with Jira/Confluence/Git.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in financial services projects.
• Strong SQL experience, especially with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of relational and dimensional databases and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience developing stored procedures and queries in SQL Server; ETL/ELT experience; SSIS is a plus.
• Experience with Python, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, and Git for collaboration.
• Excellent testing and troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support for market risk applications, including monitoring, incident resolution, and problem management.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL-based solutions to support business and market risk functions.
• Handle business-critical incidents, including stakeholder communication and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integration, reporting, and analytics requirements.
• Document operational procedures, workflows, and technical solutions.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the reliability and performance of applications and data processes.
