Job summary

Comscore Chile S.A. is seeking a Database Administrator to manage and optimize SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases in cloud and on‑premise environments.

The role involves Level II support, troubleshooting, and collaborating with IT and Development teams to maintain service reliability. The candidate will monitor server health, apply patches, assist in disaster recovery planning, and contribute to capacity forecasting.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of database administration experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) in cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Experience solving complex technical problems and taking ownership of learning.
• Strong planning and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication skills; able to convey technical information to senior management.
• Willingness to provide after-hours and weekend support.

Responsibilities

• Provide level II support and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Maintain production servers, perform installations and configurations, apply patches.
• Monitor server health and implement enhancements for efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT and Development teams to coordinate tasks.
• Support disaster recovery planning and capacity forecasting.
• Mentor new hires and stay current with technology advancements.
