Bluelight Consulting, Llc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Flask/React to join our remote LATAM team. You will own backend with Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, Celery, and work on complex financial reporting and data visualization projects across diverse clients.

You will collaborate with product managers and data engineers, refactor legacy systems, and deliver scalable, high-quality software in a fast-paced consultancy environment that values learning and collaboration.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience with Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy, Celery) and service-oriented backend.
• Extensive PostgreSQL experience and data-access modeling.

Technical Qualifications

• Backend: 5+ years of experience with Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy, Celery) and building complex, service-oriented server logic.


• Data Access: Heavy experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), data storage systems, and advanced data-access models.

Core Responsibilities:

• Full-Stack Ownership: Architect, test, and ship end-to-end full-stack software solutions to fulfill complex financial reporting and data visualization needs.


• Optimization: Refactor existing software continuously using Agile methodologies to improve overall maintainability and speed.


• Collaboration: Partner with product managers and data engineering teams to safely extract, parse, and serve multi-billion-dollar private asset analytics.
