Minmetal in Antofagasta, Chile is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to lead mine planning, design and technical support for large-scale open-pit copper operations. You will develop both short- and long-term mine plans and pit designs, while optimizing drill and blast, load and haul, and equipment productivity.

You will coordinate with geology, processing and infrastructure teams and support feasibility studies and capital project reviews.

Formación

• Mining Engineering degree with 8+ years in open-pit operations.
• Proficiency with Deswik, Vulcan or MineSight.
• Strong knowledge of CAPEX/OPEX estimation.
• Advanced English; willingness to work on site (roster).

Responsabilidades

• Develop short- and long-term mine plans and pit designs.
• Optimize drill & blast, load & haul and equipment productivity.
