South32 Group Operations Pty. Ltd. in Chile seeks a senior Business Planner to oversee joint venture management, mine planning and optimization for the Sierra Gorda JV.

You will coordinate annual budgeting, costs and production analysis, while evaluating projects and monitoring performance from safety, volume and cost perspectives. The candidate should have a mining or geology background, strong knowledge of planning systems, open pit experience, and proven stakeholder engagement skills.

Formación

• Bachelor s degree in mining or geology. Second degree or postgraduate is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Implement long-term mine planning guidelines aligned to strategic direction.
• Support Life of Operation plan discussions with operations and stakeholders.
• Analyze to improve strategic planning and unlock asset potential.
• Lead improvement initiatives in the Sierra Gorda JV and its governance.
• Ensure timely delivery of Mineral Resources and Ore Reserve information per JORC.
