Bluelight, a leading software consultancy, seeks a senior backend engineer to join our growing team. You will design and build low-latency APIs, work with AWS, PostgreSQL, and multi-tenant architectures, and integrate with frontend work when needed.

You bring 5+ years of backend experience, strong Node.js/TypeScript/JavaScript skills, and a focus on quality, testing, security, and scalable systems. Overlapping US business hours and a client-focused mindset are essential.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and fault-injection testing.
• Experience with AI coding assistants in daily development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of full stack development, with ability to contribute to frontend work when needed.
• Background with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
