Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Data Analyst with a Pharmaceutical, Clinical, or Biological sciences background to support a major pharmaceutical client’s in vitro application portfolio. You will combine domain knowledge with data expertise, gaining hands-on exposure to pharma R&D workflows and collaborating with a distributed international team.

Qualifications

• Educational or professional background in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Biology, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or closely related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with one or more life-sciences applications (Genedata Screener, Dotmatics, or Signal VitroVivo).
• Experience with scientific or pharmaceutical data and data flows between applications and systems.
• Strong visualization skills and ability to translate complex data into clear guidance for technical teams.
• Fluent English communication and ability to engage with scientists and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Act as domain expert for a technical support team of ~15 Full-Stack and Data Engineers.
• Help engineers understand client in vitro applications, data flows, and landscape.
• Create clear portfolio and data-flow visualizations for applications.
• Prepare documentation to enable efficient investigation and resolution of requests.
• Translate scientific concepts for technical teams to use.
• Work independently with deliverables and timelines within a distributed team.
• Continuously strengthen pharma R&D domain expertise with senior specialists.
