Insight Global's client is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize a scalable payments platform. You will work across architecture, development, deployment, and production support, collaborating with product, compliance, and operations leaders to deliver robust financial services.

You should have 6+ years of backend experience, strong C#/NET or Java/Go, cloud AWS, microservices, and a product-focused mindset.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Experience with building and supporting production-scale backend systems.
• Payments, fintech, FX, or money movement experience.
• Microservices, event-driven architecture, and system design experience.
• Cloud experience required; AWS preferred.
• Daily use of AI development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.
• Product-focused mindset with strong communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services supporting financial transactions and payment platform functionality.
• Build and enhance systems related to onboarding, payments, settlement, foreign exchange, and critical financial operations.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, and operational teams to deliver new capabilities from concept through deployment.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external partners and third-party platforms.
• Drive service reliability, monitoring, observability, incident response, and production readiness within assigned domains.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and design reviews.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to mid-level engineers.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives involving cloud infrastructure and platform transformation.
