BairesDev is seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer to guide the development of reusable AI asset libraries and robust APIs for scalable AI assets. You will lead architecture, ensure clean versioning, and champion engineering discipline across the organization.
Based in a 100% remote environment, you will collaborate with global teams, drive prompt engineering practices, and mentor engineers while delivering high-impact AI capabilities at scale.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with LLM application development, including prompt engineering.
- Proven experience building reusable AI asset libraries, such as skill or prompt catalogs.
- Experience designing APIs for library/catalog services, including CRUD, tagging, versioning, access control.
- Experience with React and component libraries.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Responsibilities
- Build reusable AI asset libraries, including skill and prompt catalogs, templates, and metadata search.
- Design APIs for library and catalog services, including CRUD operations, tagging, versioning, and access control.
- Develop and refine prompt engineering practices, including structured outputs and prompt versioning.
- Support prompt evaluation and testing through golden sets, regression testing, and quality scoring.
- Contribute to portal UX and component library development where needed.
