NTT DATA is seeking an Engineer Specialist in Security with deep Check Point expertise to operate in multi‑vendor environments. You will analyze, document, standardise and improve security operations, collaborating with global teams to ensure service continuity and rapid incident response.

You will administer Check Point alongside Palo Alto and Fortinet platforms, handle complex incidents, and contribute to risk reduction through documentation and standardised processes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Networking, Cybersecurity or IT.
• Willingness to work shifts aligned with US, Canada and Spain operations.
• Advanced bilingual English proficiency will be evaluated.
• Solid, verifiable experience administering and troubleshooting Check Point platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of firewall policies, rules, NAT, logs and traffic analysis.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks.
• Operational knowledge of Fortinet FortiGate.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, subnetting and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose complex incidents involving firewall, network, DNS, DHCP, proxy, WAF and external services.
• Check Point CCSA or CCSE current or equivalent experience.
• Palo Alto Networks Network Security Professional certification.
• Fortinet NSE 5 or NSE 6 – Secure Networking.
• CCNP Security.
• Certifications or training in F5/WAF, Netskope, Infoblox.
• ITIL Foundation v4.

Responsabilidades

• Manage perimeter security incidents related to firewalls, policies, connectivity and flows between sites and data centers.
• Administer and provide operational support to Check Point platforms, including analysis of rules, NAT and logs.
• Support Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and participate in incidents and configurations.
• Diagnose connectivity problems with Networking to determine root cause across routing, firewall and external dependencies.
• Coordinate controlled firewall changes with impact analyses and post‑validation documentation.
• Support perimeter security incidents in multiple locations including remote offices and data centers.
• Participate in WAF/F5 scenarios, diagnostics and escalation processes.
• Serve as N2/N3 escalation point for firewall incidents and work with Security Architect.
• Document operational procedures, troubleshooting guides and recurring solutions.
• Continue incidents and changes transferred from international teams for coverage reasons.
• Maintain proactive communication during critical incidents and ensure end‑to‑end tracking.
• Contribute to operational risk reduction through standardisation and knowledge transfer.
