Job summary

FullStack is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (GCP) to join our talent network and work directly with U.S. clients on flexible, project-based projects.

You will integrate into client teams and collaborate with designers and engineers daily to deliver reliable, scalable services. We require 4+ years in SRE/infra/backend, advanced English, a four-year degree, and strong expertise in GCP, monitoring, Docker, CI/CD, and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in site reliability engineering, infrastructure engineering, or backend engineering.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Experience owning production reliability, incident response, on-call operations, and service availability.
• Strong background with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure, including Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Google Cloud Storage, compute, networking, and managed services.
• Proven experience building and improving monitoring, alerting, and observability systems using Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, Datadog, or similar platforms.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Proven experience with Docker, containerized workloads, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience improving reliability through root cause analysis, incident prevention, blameless postmortems, and measurable reliability metrics.
• Strong background optimizing PostgreSQL performance, including connection pooling, query optimization, indexing, read replicas, and capacity planning.
• Experience improving infrastructure scalability, performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Familiarity with automating incident response and developing or integrating AI agents for alert triage and auto-remediation.
• Experience supporting ML or data infrastructure, including training pipelines and model monitoring, is a plus.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Integrate into client teams and work daily with designers and engineers.
• Own production reliability, incident response, on-call operations, and service availability.
• Build and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability using Grafana/Prometheus/Zabbix/Datadog.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation for reliable deployments.
• Support ML or data infrastructure as a plus.
