Outlier is seeking QA Coders to audit AI-generated code and rate model responses to help improve AI capabilities. This freelance, 1099 opportunity offers flexible remote work from anywhere and compensation up to $34 USD per hour, with additional incentives based on project needs and performance.

You will review code, rank the AI outputs, and craft clear prompts to push coding models further. Prior IT experience and strong English communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase is ideal.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
• Excellent attention to detail in grammar, punctuation and style.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions to improve outputs.
• Write clear computer science prompts to challenge AI models.
