Outlier is building a remote program for LatAm software engineers to train AI models in code generation and evaluation. Join as a QA Coder to review AI-generated code and provide structured feedback from your coding expertise.

You'll rate model responses on accuracy and instruction following, and craft well-formed computer science prompts to push AI capabilities. This is a 1099 freelance opportunity with flexible, remote work from anywhere in Latin America.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase ideally for a technology company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions — accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write clear, well-structured prompts that challenge AI models and push coding ability.
