Job summary

Outlier is building a structured remote QA coding program for LatAm software engineers to train AI models in code generation. You will review AI-generated code, rate model responses, and craft prompts to assess and improve model performance.

This is a freelancer/1099 style opportunity with flexible remote work from anywhere in Latin America. Ideal candidates have a CS degree, live production code experience, and strong English writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to production codebase.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail in grammar, punctuation and style.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues.
• Rate and rank model responses across dimensions—accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write clear, well-structured prompts that challenge AI models.
