Job Description: As the Regional Head - LATAM , you will be a key leader within Cadila Pharmaceuticals, responsible for spearheading the marketing and sales function , developing strategies to increase market share and profitability in the LATAM region. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in business development, market penetration, and team leadership within the pharmaceutical industry. You will have direct and indirect reports totaling 2 and report directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Marketing and Sales function, developing strategies to increase market share and profitability.
- Organize and control the implementation of marketing and sales tactics.
- Handle major sales and negotiations.
- Appoint and work with agents and distributors.
- Develop new business by introducing new products or entering new markets.
- Achieve budget targets.
- Manage P&L. Primary Sales
- Drive order generation.
- Manage Ex-India sales for the Assigned Geographies, LATAM Region.
- Oversee Secondary, Tertiary Sales & Demand generation for secondary markets.
- Explore and build new business in existing and new markets - Private and in Tenders.
- Drive business growth of the region through Strategic alliances, partnership, acquisitions of products and companies as per company need.
- Develop strategy for effective market penetration – through various channels.
- Identify sales targets across channels in coordination with Leadership.
- Responsible for leading, developing and implementing strategies for the sub-function in line with the vision/plans, targets and growth imperatives of the overall region.
- Manage Subsidiary Management where applicable – P & L, Sales & Order Generation.
- Conduct Business Planning & Review (Market Assessment/Projection/Competitor Analysis/ Budgeting Etc.).
- Ensuring implementation of systems, processes and policies that would help drive a high-performance culture aligned to its functional objectives.
- Implementation of Marketing Strategies - corporate and local.
- Development of Sub regional Heads by on the job training and passing on the country and market info and details so that they are self-reliant.
- Individual development plan & building a career path for the entire team.
- Manage Business Operations – managing & ensuring cross functional alignment to achieve deliveries.
- To manage team and ensure each team member achieve his/her KRA’s.
Professional Qualifications:
- B. Pharm / M. Pharm/ B. Tech./ B.Sc. + MBA (Marketing).
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience of which the last 5 years should be in leading & managing the business.
